Our Annual Used Book Sale is coming up Wednesday, July 20, 4-8 pm and Thursday, July 21, 8 am to 3 pm in the City Hall Ballroom.
Everything will be $1.00 on Wednesday, July 20. Hard covers will be 50 cents, and paperbacks will be 25 cents on Thursday, July 21 - with a $1/bag sale starting at 2 pm.
We accept donations throughout the year for our Book Sale, in fact the vast majority of the items sold at the Book Sale have been donated. If you have books or movies you would like to donate–anytime—please drop them off at the Library (during open hours only-please don’t leave them outside). We cannot accept damaged items or magazines. Please note that we always go through donated items to see what we can add to our collection first, before storing them for our Book Sale.
We will need volunteers to help with the Book Sale the following shifts:
Wednesday, July 20
Set-up 10 am until finished. (Volunteers for this shift can shop for a little while once everything is set-up. The prices are $1/item.)
4-6 pm
6-8 pm
Thursday, July 21
8-10 am
10 am-noon
Noon-2 pm
2 pm until clean-up is done (Volunteers for this shift get a REALLY REALLY good deal on as many books as they want!)
Please contact us if you are interested in helping. We would like at least 2 people for each shift.
